A Jacksonville, Florida, woman was reported in life-threatening condition after she was struck by an automobile while crossing the street at the intersection of 103rd Street and Blanding Boulevard. According to Detective Darrell Edmonds, the driver of a Ford Expedition was turning left of a Krystal fast-food restaurant around 2 p.m. The driver hit the victim at a low-rate of speed while the victim was crossing the street. The female pedestrian was taken to Shands Jacksonville. No criminal charges have been filed thus far and no names have been released.
