Drivers should refrain from activities that will take their attention away from the road. This includes activities such as talking or texting on a cell phone, eating, reading and talking to other passengers while driving. Drivers who are aware of their surroundings are better able to prevent collisions with other drivers and motorcyclists on Florida roadways.
