A St. Johns County, Florida man died after being ejected from his truck in the World Golf Village area in St. Augustine, Florida. According to Jeremy Robshaw, St. Johns County Fire Rescue spokesman, Fire Rescue responded to the scene around 8 a.m. and found a patient in cardiac arrest. Robshaw confirmed the man was ejected from his truck as well as hinted to the belief that the man may have been ran over by his own automobile. Rescue workers attempted CPR, which were unsuccessful. This man’s death is a tragedy for his family and community. Florida roadways can be very dangerous especially during times of heavy traffic, such as morning and afternoon commutes. In order to make Florida roadways safer, drivers should refrain from distracted driving activities. Distracted driving includes but is not limited to talking and texting on the cell phone, eating, grooming, reading and talking to other passengers while driving.
