Mary E. Leduc, a 65-year-old woman of Keystone Heights, was critically injured after a crash that occurred early one morning in Starke, Florida. Leduc sustained critical personal injuries and was hospitalized at Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Leduc, who was driving a 2005 Jeep sports utility vehicle, made a right turn from a private driveway onto the outside, Douthbound lane of U.S. 201. As Leduc was turning onto U.S. 301, Charles M. Milton, 62, of Gainesville, was driving a tractor/trailer behind Leduc. Milton moved into the inside lane to pass and Leduc suddenly changed lanes, moving directly into Milton’s path. Milton served in an attempt to avoid Leduc’s vehicle but was unable to.
